The Role

As a Copywriter, you'll work across a diverse mix of brands, industries and campaign types.

You'll partner with strategists, designers, motion designers, account managers and digital specialists to develop ideas that work across every touchpoint, from social and digital to film, print, web and presentations.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety.

Some days you'll be developing campaign concepts. Other days you'll be writing paid media copy, social content, websites, scripts, presentations, brand messaging or thought leadership pieces.

You'll be expected to contribute ideas, challenge briefs where appropriate and bring a strong understanding of both creativity and commercial thinking to every project.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop creative campaign concepts and messaging.
  • Write compelling copy across digital, social, web and print.
  • Create headlines, campaign platforms and brand messaging.
  • Write paid media copy across Meta, Google, LinkedIn and other digital channels.
  • Develop website copy and user journeys.
  • Write scripts for video, animation and radio.
  • Contribute to pitches and new business presentations.
  • Support strategy workshops through messaging and positioning.
  • Proofread and maintain consistency across all deliverables.
  • Use AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency while ensuring all work retains originality, quality and strategic thinking.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years' experience in an agency environment.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking as well as strong writing.
  • Excellent conceptual ability.
  • Strong understanding of branding, advertising and digital marketing.
  • Ability to adapt tone of voice across different industries and audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and explaining creative thinking.
  • Able to manage multiple projects without compromising quality.
  • Naturally curious and always looking for better ways to communicate.

Technical Skills

You should have experience with:

  • Creative concept development.
  • Campaign messaging.
  • Brand voice development.
  • Website copywriting.
  • Social media content.
  • Paid media copy.
  • Scriptwriting.
  • Long-form and short-form writing.
  • Presentation writing.
  • Proofreading and editing.

Experience with the following would be highly advantageous:

  • ChatGPT and modern AI writing tools.
  • Figma (for reviewing layouts and collaborating with designers).
  • Google Workspace.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote.
  • SEO copywriting principles.
  • Basic understanding of UX writing.
  • Prompt writing for AI image and content generation.

Bonus Points

Not essential, but we'd love to see experience with:

  • Automotive marketing.
  • Luxury or premium brands.
  • Fashion or retail.
  • Employer branding.
  • Brand strategy.
  • Naming and verbal identity.
  • Pitch writing.
  • PR or communications.
  • Award submissions or case study writing.
