The Role

As a Motion Designer, you'll work across a wide range of brands, industries and campaign types.

You'll collaborate with strategists, designers, copywriters and digital specialists to bring ideas to life across social, digital, web, presentations, advertising and video.

No two weeks look the same.

One day you might be animating a product launch. The next you're creating social-first motion assets, building title sequences, editing campaign films or experimenting with AI-powered creative workflows.

We're looking for someone who's comfortable owning projects, contributing creatively and delivering work to a consistently high standard without needing constant direction.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Create high-quality motion graphics across digital and social platforms.
  • Animate campaign assets for Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Edit short-form and long-form video content.
  • Develop animated brand systems and visual identities.
  • Create titles, transitions and motion language for campaigns.
  • Produce content optimised for multiple aspect ratios and platforms.
  • Work closely with designers to extend static creative into motion.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and strategists during concept development.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Stay on top of new trends, techniques and AI-powered creative tools.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years' experience in a creative agency or production environment.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating motion design, editing and storytelling.
  • Excellent creative judgement and attention to detail.
  • Strong typography and composition skills.
  • Good understanding of pacing, rhythm and visual hierarchy.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects from concept through delivery.
  • Able to present and explain creative decisions confidently.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Technical Skills

You should be highly proficient in:

  • Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop

Experience with the following would be highly advantageous:

  • Cinema 4D or Blender
  • Adobe Audition
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Figma
  • Lottie animation
  • Rive
  • AI creative tools (Runway, Kling, Veo, Leonardo, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Firefly or similar)
  • Basic sound design
  • Colour grading fundamentals
  • Basic camera and production knowledge

Bonus Points

Not essential, but we'd love to see experience with:

  • 3D motion
  • Product visualisation
  • Automotive campaigns
  • Luxury or lifestyle brands
  • VFX compositing
  • Storyboarding
  • Directing shoots
  • Drone footage
  • Photography
  • Basic HTML animation or interactive media
